How to Play — World Cup 2026

Group Stage Picks

One Team Per Group

  • Your team wins the group = roughly 10× their odds in points
  • Your team finishes 2nd = half those points, rounded down
  • 3rd or 4th = nothing

*Points are locked from the bookies' odds before the tournament — favourites score small, long shots score big. Each pick shows its 1st / 2nd place points in the dropdown.

Five-A-Side Squad

Pick a squad of five players — one goalkeeper and four outfield players — covering the full group stage.

  • Goalkeeper10 points for every clean sheet during the group stage
  • Outfield players10 points for every goal scored during the group stage
  • Captain — choose one of your five players as captain; they score double points

Round of 32

Pick Who Goes Through

  • For each of the 16 matches, pick the team you think goes through
  • "Goes through" = wins in 90 mins, extra time, or on penalties
  • Pick goes through = you score that team's points. Knocked out = nothing
  • ⭐ Pick one match as your golden game — its points are doubled

*Points come from the bookies' odds — backing the underdog scores big. Each option shows its points in the dropdown.

New Five-A-Side Squad

Pick a fresh five-a-side squad for this round — one goalkeeper and four outfield players. You can keep some, all, or none of your group-stage squad. Same scoring: 10 pts per clean sheet, 10 pts per goal, and your captain scores double.

Overall Score

Each round is scored as its own stage. Your points from every stage — group stage, Round of 32, and the rounds to come — add up into your overall total.
